The Tech Guide podcast is back for 2026 and we have a massive Episode 676 hosted by editor Stephen Fenech who has just returned from the Consumer Electronics Show Las Vegas.
On this week’s show, we wrap up CES 2026 starting with the all the TV announcement – a popular product at this show and we discuss the latest from LG, Samsung and Hisense.
We also talk about arguably one of the biggest announcements at the show – Lego Smart Play – we tell you how the remarkable new technology works and speak with Mike Ilacqua, Head of Product, LEGO Star Wars at the LEGO Group and Chris Gollaher, Director of Product Development, Disney.
There were also plenty of robots on display from LG’s CLOiD concept home robot to the new products from ECOVACS and the latest robot vacuum from Roborock which can climb stairs.
We also take a tour of the ASUS booth which featured the impressive new Zenbook Duo – a dual screen laptop – and we also talk to Shawn Yen, the Aussie educated ASUS Senior Vice President, Consumer.
And we also check out the Reolink stand where we found the AI Box that can empower all the cameras on your network with AI. We also sat down with Reolink’s Nick Nigro to talk about the AI and the new cameras coming to the Australian market.
