Microsoft has announced that the popular Office 2016 for Mac is available to download today for Office 365 customers. The popular suite of applications has been enhanced with a sleek new look and a number of new features.
Microsoft’s Office 2016 for Mac includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote and have been improved with feedback from the Mac Community.
Office 2016 for Mac offers a sleek experience with the addition of Mac capabilities like full screen view, multi-touch gestures and support for Retina Display support so your documents look sharper than ever.
The new Office 2016 for Mac is also cloud-connected so you can access your documents on any device.
There are also new built-in sharing tools to make it easy to work on a document with other people.
And even though the documents were created on a Mac, there is no issue with compatibility with Office on PCs, tablets, smartphones and offline.
WORD FOR MAC
Word for Mac makes it easy to create sharp documents with the new writing and reviewing tools while the design tab provides quality layouts, fonts and colours.
And when working on a document with a teammate you can also use threaded comments to comment right next to the highlighted text.
EXCEL FOR MAC
Excel for Mac helps you compile and visualise your spreadsheets by recommending charts that would suit your data.
There are familiar keyboard shortcuts, auto complete and an improved formula builder to complete your work even faster while the PivotTable Slicers can assist in filtering large volumes of data to recognise patterns.
POWERPOINT FOR MAC
If you want to add even more zing to your presentations, PowerPoint for Mac can help with new animations and transitions.
