Take a look at the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition – a serious chair for serious gamers
There are lots of ways for elite gamers to get the edge on their opponent – one of those ways is being comfortable in a purpose-built gaming chair like the Anda Seat.
Anda Seat chairs are now available in Australia but they are already known for their work building race car seats for Mercedes Benz and BMW.
The company has since focused in creating quality gaming chairs afters seeing the growing demand in the esports industry.
After launching in 2007 the Anda Seat became one of the leading choices in the industry and is now considered the go-to chair for esports teams.
Today Anda Seat is the world’s largest gaming chair supplier.
They now have three models to choose from – Fnatic Edition ($649.99), Kaiser 2 Series ($549.99) and Jungle Series ($369.99).
Each chair is made from PVC leather – the same material found inside BMW and Mercedes Benz vehicles with solid support for your spine – an important factor especially during long game play sessions – to maintain posture.
Tech Guide took a closer look at the Fnatic Edition – a high quality chair with black PVC leather and orange accents.
First thing we noticed was the quality of the chair and how sturdy it is.
It arrived in a large box and we had to put it together. This wasn’t too hard with all the bolts included and an Allen key to screw everything together.
The chair is a good size and offers a stable yet comfortable seat.
Fnatic Edition is 139cm tall at maximum height with a seat depth of 55cm, seat width of 44cm and a backrest height of 87cm and backrest shoulder width of 60.5cm.
The armrest is 27cm long and provides nice support for players who want to rest their elbows on it and provide a more stable way to hold the controller.
The armrest height can be adjusted from 32.5cm to 39.5cm.
It is made of hard wearing foam and PVC leather with an integrated powder coated steel framework.
Also onboard is a class-4 hydraulic gas lift which allows easy height adjustment.
And it all rests on a high-strength five star aluminium base with wheels that can handle 200kg.
A gaming chair has to be able adjust to the user and that’s exactly what the Anda Seat Fnatic Edition can do.
Apart from height adjustment, users can also adjust the seat and back rest and the angles to suit you.
The lockable synchronic tilt mechanism is easy to adjust to find the angle that’s right for you.
There is an adjustable rocking mode for those who prefer to lean back and enjoy the comfort of the chair.
Also onboard and highly adjustable are the 4D arm rests which can be adjusted for height, angle and how far forward or back you’d prefer them to be.
Also included with the chair is a lumbar support pillow and headrest which are covered in soft velvet and made if form-fitting memory foam.
In terms of comfort, size and ease of adjustment, the Fnatic Edition provides everything a serious gamer needs.
The Kaiser 2 Series is available in black or maroon and has most of the features of the Fnatic Edition but is slightly smaller and made of different materials.
The Jungle Series gaming chair is available in black with red accents or all black and has armrests adjustable in two directions.
