Anyone who owns a pool knows how much work goes into maintaining it and keeping it clean. Aiper has introduced a range of products to help including the new Surfer S1 skimmer.
Aiper has already released its range of Scuba robot pool cleaners which looks after cleaning your pool below the surface.
Above the surface is where the Surfer S1 skimmer comes into play.
The solar-powered device floats on the surface of the pool and collects leaves and other floating debris and deposits them into the large 5L debris basket.
The Surfer S1 measures 62.8cm long, 52.8cm wide and 25.6cm tall. It weighs 5.8kg.
Surfer S1 has a brushless motor and paddle wheel design so it can efficiently navigate the surface of your pool and clean up in a short time.
Onboard are ultrasonic detectors which helps the Surfer S1 avoid crashing into the sides of the pool while navigating the surface and providing complete cleaning coverage.
There are two modes for the Surfer S1 – there’s the automatic cleaning mode and, our favourite, the manual mode which allows users to remotely drive the unit through the app like a model boat.
The manual mode is best for those times when you want to clean a specific area of the pool quickly.
The companion app is handy to check the Surfer S1’s battery level and cleaning reports and receive alerts.
When its fully charged the solar battery can run for up to 10 hours so you can set it and forget it.
It also has DC charging if you want to charge the Surfer S1 out of the pool.
The Aiper Surfer S1 can be used in any size pool an in standard, saltwater and natural pools.
