Australia has become the latest country outside the US to see the upcoming Tesla Model 3 in the flesh with hundreds of reservation holders lining up to catch a glimpse of their future vehicle. The NBN is 75 per cent complete with improved customer experiences and an increase in revenues according to the latest progress report for Australia’s broadband access network. NBN Co has made steady progress towards reaching its network completion goal by 2020 with 8.1 million premises ready for service. By the end of the financial year, more than 70 per cent of the total network construction was complete. Telstra has become the first Australian telco to activate 5G in Australia as it prepares to ramp up the technology to more than 200 5G capable sites around the country by the end of the year. Selected sites on the Gold Coast were the first to be activated to 5G following the launch in February of Telstra’s 5G Innovation Centre ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
