These in-ear stereo headphones connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth so there are no cables that will get in your way.
Also onboard the Jabra Rox Wireless headphones is NFC (near field communication) for one touch pairing with compatible devices.
The headphones can actually be paired to two devices at the same time and can remember up to eight devices that have been paired before.
And because they have an IP52 rating they can handle water splashes and dust so they wouldn’t be out of place on a run or in the gym or just about anywhere.
The design for the Jabra Rox Wireless headphones was inspired from the in-ear monitors used by professional musicians to hear themselves while they’re performing.
They have been design to offer the full range of quality audio and respectable bass performance as well.
And we have to agree. The sound quality produced by the Jabra Rox Wireless headphones is excellent.
The sound is crisp and clear at the high and mid levels with very satisfying bass levels as well.
The Jabra Sound App can take your listening to the next level by utilising the onboard Dolby Digital Plus enhancement for high definition playback of YouTube videos and your own music.
But apart from the respectable sound quality, the Jabra Rox Wireless headphones also have an impressive design.
They sit snugly in your ear and also come with a selection of ear gels and ear wings to ensure a comfortable fit for everyone.
These are a little fiddly and take some time to get right. The ear gels attach to the ear buds like a mini elastic band and could wear out over time so don’t lose those spares.
The cables connecting the two ear buds are Kevlar-reinforced for added strength and has a flatter shape so they don’t get tangled.
There is a microphone and controls on the cable to make and receive calls through your paired smartphone and to navigate your music.
The internal rechargeable battery will offer about 5.5 hours of playback and a standby time of up to 18 days.
And when you’re done you can use one of our favourite features – the power-saving magnets.
The magnets are located on the outside of the ear buds and lock together for easy storage or to wear as a necklace when not in use.
But not only that – it also turns the headphones off. Same thing when you pull them apart – it turns the headphones back on again.
The Jabra Rox Wireless headphones are available now from JB Hi-Fi and are priced at $149.
If you love to hear your music anywhere and don’t want to see any cables them they are definitely worth a try.
