Bose releases new QuietComfort 25 noise cancelling headphones

boseqc25headphones4Bose has released a new pair of noise cancelling headphones – the QuietComfort 25 – that offers improved noise reduction features and higher audio quality.

The QC25 headphones have a completely new minimal look and feel with materials and mechanical design re-engineered so they sit even closer to your ears.

The lightweight headphones are comfortable to wear with a cushioned headband and ear cups made of protein leather.

Each ear cup also has a cast zinc pivot which allows the QC25 headphones to fold down and fit into the smallest carry case on the market.

On the audio and electronic side there are several improvements.

Bose’s noise reduction technology has been improved with microphones placed inside and outside of the ear cup.

These measurements are then sent to a digital electronic chip so an equal and opposite noise cancellation signal is generated in a fraction of a millisecond.

And all-new Active EQ smooths out the frequency response across all levels of sound while the onboard TriPort technology comes in to play to deliver the detailed bass output.

The Bose QuietComfort 25 noise cancellation headphones come with a single AAA battery that can power up to 35 hours of use.

And if the battery does die, listeners can still continue to hear their music but without the full level of noise cancellation.

The QC25 headphones will actually be replacing the QC15 headphones in the Bose line-up.

The QuietComfort 25 noise cancelling headphones will be sold in two colours – black and white and are available now for $399.
