LG Electronics has been honoured with 10 prestigious 2013 International CES Innovations Awards including one in the competitive video display category for its 84-inch Ultra High Definition TV.
LG’s home entertainment, home appliances and mobile devices were also honoured.
The LG Ultra High Definition 84-inch TV has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is four times the resolution of a regular full high definition screen with more than eight million pixels.
While there is not much native 4K content yet, the LG Ultra High Definition 84-inch TV has the ability to upscale full high definition content to near 4K quality.

LG was also honoured in the International CES Innovation wireless handset category for the Optimus G smartphone which has a 4.7-inch True HD display, quad core processor and 4G/LTE compatibility.

The LG Optimus G will be available in Australia in the first quarter of 2013.
The International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world’s largest tradeshow for the industry and is the showcase where companies unveil their latest products to the world.

The 2013 International CES begins in Las Vegas on January 8.
