DJI, a company we know from their drones and cameras, has released the DJI Mic Mini 2S – the first Mini wireless microphone from DJI that has internal recording capabilities.
An expansion on the DJI Mic Mini 2, this latest model offers 32-bit float internal recording and up to 38 hours of storage.
It also comes with two levels of AI noise cancellation to ensure you capture quality audio even in noisy environments like on-street interviews and multi-person productions.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S gives creators even more flexibility when looking after dynamic sound levels in post-production.
Each transmitter has 14.5 GB of built-in storage, which is enough room to record up to 28 hours of audio in its default 24-bit mode.
The onboard Clipping Control can automatically attenuate audio in volatile situations while Loudness Balance maintains consistent output levels for recordings like interviews and live streams.
There are three voice tone presets to choose from – Regular for balanced and natural audio, Bright to improve clarity and Rich for a warmer tone.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S has been designed with flexibility in mind.
One receiver can be connected to up to four transmitters to make it ideal for roundtable discussions, podcasts and interviews.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S has eight colourful magnetic front covers.
The DJI Mic Mini 2S transmitters can also connect to other Osmo cameras, including the Osmo Pocket 4P, Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano and Osmo Action 6 without needing a receiver.
It offers 48 kHz 24-bit premium audio directly to these other DJI devices.
