Tineco has made significant inroads in the floor-cleaning category in Australia and the launch of the Pure One P50 Pro stick vac has reinforced their position to stand out as a serious contender in this crowded market.
Tech Guide received the PureOne P50 Pro for review and it streamlined the cleaning in our home.
Priced at $1,099, the Tineco cordless vacuum’s features helped us get through the tougher parts of cleaning the house and saved our back while revealing the hidden dust.
The P50 Pro introduces two design features that can change up the cleaning experience.
It’s all about making it easier for you to get the job done.
First up is the 180-degree foldable tube which means you don’t have to be a yoga master to be able to clean under the coffee table and under furniture.
The vacuum wand has a handy hinge and folds so it can effortlessly slide under low- furniture and get into those hard to reach places.
And this means you can stand comfortably upright while saving your back and avoiding a trip to the chiropractor.
The other game changer is the 120-degree green LED Headlight.
Forget the standard white headlights on vacuums that just lit up your path.
Tineco uses a wide-angle green LED array that shines a light across your floors and reveals the dust particles as small as 0.02mm.
If you are using a regular vacuum cleaner, we guarantee you would have missed them.
What we also liked about it was how satisfying it was to see how much dust is in front of us and exactly where we had to clean.
On the performance side the P50 Pro packs a massive 200AW of suction power that’s driven by Tineco’s proprietary PureCyclone Technology.
This means it doesn’t just pick up easy to find surface dust – it gets into the deeper carpet fibres to get at that hidden dust and debris without losing suction over time.
The controls on the handle allow you to set the power mode but you can also let
the iLoop Smart Sensor comes into play.
The vacuum actively sees how dirty your floors are and dynamically adjusts the suction power on the fly.
When you hit a high-traffic, dirty area, the iLoop sensor automatically cranks up the performance.
Once that zone is clean, it pulls back to conserve the battery.
And you can monitor all of this in real-time via the Smart LED Screen.
Pet owners will be delighted to know the ZeroTangle Brush and Clogless System means an easier clean.
Who hasn’t experienced the nightmare of cutting tightly wound hair off a brush roller? You won’t be doing that with the P50 Pro.
Tineco’s specialized brush geometry and comb design trap fur and hair without letting it wrap around the roller before channelling it straight into the dustbin.
This clogless intake design also ensures that larger debris won’t cause blockages and choke the airflow.
Another standout feature of the P50 Pro is its 95-minute run time which is excellent for a cordless vacuum.
In Eco mode (Suction Only) is where you get the full 95-minute runtime. This is when you would use it as hand vac and attach the non-motorised tools.
Eco Mode with the ZeroTangle motorised brush brings that down to about 65 minutes and this is where you would spend most of your time.
It’s the same if you want to get into Max mode and engage the iLoop feature, you will get about an hour’s worth of cleaning.
That’s easily enough charge to clean a multi-story home in a single session before you need to put it back on the charger.
Speaking of the charger, the Tineco P50 Pro has a floor charging stand which also has rooms to put the additional attachments.
You can’t wall mount charger – it’s required to up right and doesn’t that big a footprint.
Alternatively you can detach the battery and charge it on its own if you wanted to store the vacuum out of sight.
