Hisense has announced a new style of TV the combines art and entertainment – the CanvasTV – so you can add an artistic touch to your home and enjoy works of art when you’re not watching television.
Available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, the Hisense canvas TV Is not only a high quality 4K TV but, at the press of a button, it can display famous artworks and your own album of personal photographs to truly personalise your living space.
“CanvasTV is more than just a television—it’s a statement piece that combines the best of art and innovation to elevate Australian homes” said Chris Kotis, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing of Hisense Australia and New Zealand.
“CanvasTV unlocks a new world for Hisense, further enhancing the functionality and innovation behind our home entertainment range.
“It is designed to be versatile and seamlessly adapt to our customer’s lifestyle. With features such as interchangeable frames and a hi-matte screen, CanvasTV transforms your home into a gallery.”
The onboard features include:
IMMERSIVE ART MODE
Uses can transform the TV to a digital canvas by accessing a curated collection of free artistic masterpieces which includes more than 1,000 works covering various artistic styles included abstract, modern and renaissance styles.
Now, instead of staring at a large black rectangle, users can instead turn the TV into a work of art or of photo gallery using their best images.
Customers can sign up to a free VIDAA account and explore the collection available to them on the VIDAA Art App.
The Hisense CanvasTV is designed with energy efficiency in mind so whenever it is in art mode it can automatically adjust brightness and minimise energy consumption thanks to the on board light sensor.
It also has a motion sensor which can detect when people are in the room and automatically turn off the screen when the room is empty.
DYNAMIC VISUALS AND SOUND
Under the hood of the canvas TV is Hisense 4K QLED with Quantum Dot colour technology screen which includes the company’s typically impressive picture quality.
The TV has a high matte anti-glare display so users will still enjoy the clarity and colour vibrancy which is unaffected by ambient light.
This also offers the same depth and texture of real paintings so you are assured of a perfect view at all times of the day or night.
The TV also has a 144Hz refresh rate so viewers will enjoy silky smooth motion – ideal for watching action movies and sport.
And on the audio side there is a multi-channel 2.0.2 surround sound system that offers rich audio when you’re watching movies, playing games, watching sport and listening to music.
SEAMLESS PERSONALISED DESIGN
The TV comes with StyleSwap Frames which are interchangeable to match the room’s décor.
The Hisense CanvasTV comes with a teak frame with customers able to register their product to redeem an additional frame in either white or walnut at no extra cost.
