Oppo launches affordable AX7 smartphone loaded with premium features
Oppo has just launched the AX7 – a new camera phone that’s loaded with premium features, artificial intelligence and a huge battery but with an entry-level price tag.
The Oppo AX7 has a 6.2-inch high definition full-screen display with Oppo’s waterdrop design – that’s the notch at the top of the screen which houses the front-facing 16-megapixel selfie camera.
In fact, the AX7 has a screen to body ratio of 88.4 per cent which provides plenty of space to enjoy your content, games, photos, videos and your favourite apps.
The screen is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass.
On the design side, the AX7 provides an industry first – a 3D heat-curved chassis and a unique grain pattern to give it a premium look and feel.
Oppo continues to provide impressive cameras with their smartphones and the AX7 is no exception.
It has a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual rear camera set up which is also enhanced with AI to ensure your shots are the best they can be.
And that’s on top of that 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front which has an F2.0 aperture and a wide-angle lens to fit even more people and background into your shots.
Running the Android 8.1 operating system, the device is powered by the Qualcomm octa-core Adreno 506 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
That’s a lot of power for an entry-level device which enables easier multitasking and impressive performance when watching movies and playing games.
The Oppo AX7 also has a massive 4,280mAh battery to easily run all day and well into the next.
What helps create longer battery life is the battery management system enhanced with artificial intelligence which is smart enough to freeze in active apps and reduce excess caching to save power.
The Oppo AX7 is available now in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue and is priced at $399 from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Woolworths, MobileCiti, Telechoice and Yes Distribution.
It is also be available for $319 through Optus on a prepaid plan.
