Nokia launches Nokia 9 PureView smartphone with five rear cameras

Nokia has raised the bar when it comes to mobile photography with the introduction of its new Nokia 9 PureView smartphone –  the world’s first to feature five rear cameras.

Nokia also announced three other devices – the Nokia 4.2, the Nokia 3.2 and the Nokia 1 Plus.

The Nokia 9 PureView redefines all imaging technology and puts a serious photography tool in the hands of enthusiasts.

The five cameras work together to capture a 60-megapixel image.

It uses two lenses for accurate colour and three lenses  to provide the sharpness and detail with all five sensors working together to collect up to 10 times the amount of light of a single sensor.

Each image captured with the Nokia 9 PureView is HDR (high dynamic range) with up to 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12-megapixel depth map which provides incredible detail in areas of both bright sunlight and shade.
