Huawei has unveiled the Huawei Mate 40 Series of smartphones which showcase the company’s latest innovations along with remarkable performance and 5G connectivity.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ offer a stunning 6.76-inch OLED 88-degree Horizon Display with sharply curved edges.
The advanced 5nm Kirin 9000 5G SoC processor offers huge speed improvements as well as a boost in graphics performance.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ now include Smart Gesture Control so users have complete hands-free control of the phone.
By hovering your hand over the device you can wake it up and navigate by waving left and right and up and down.
On the camera side, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro Series has worked once again with Leica to engineer an all-new 50-megapixel four lens camera system position in a ring on the device’s rear panel including a 20-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a high definition main camera and impressive 12-megapixel telephoto camera.
The device can also shoot video with XD Fusion HDR to ensure balanced exposure and better contrast.
The Ultra Vision Selfie camera can also shoot 4K video with three available fields of view.
Under the hood is a huge 4,400mAh battery with 50W wireless Huawei SuperCharge.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be priced at $1,999 when it is released in November.
At the Mate 40 launch event, Huawei also unveiled the company’s first noise cancelling headphones, Porsche Design Huawei Watch GT and Huawei X Gentle Monster Eyewear II smart glasses.
