Kogan has once again applied the blowtorch to its competitors with the release of a new 65-inch 4K smart TV that’s a fraction of the cost of similar TVs from the big brands.
The Kogan 65-inch Agora smart TV has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 which puts the set into the 4K or Ultra High Definition (UHD) class.
But the figures that will impress customers most are the ones in the price which – at $1,599 – is thousands of dollars cheaper than similar sized TVs from the major manufacturers.
While there is no suggestion the vastly cheaper is equal in quality to the 4K UHD TVs offered by Sony, Samsung, LG and Panasonic, it does represent remarkable value for those looking for a higher quality large screen experience.
4K has four times more pixels than a full high definition TV and offers far more detail and clarity when viewing compatible content which, at this time, is scarce.
Also on board the Kogan LED television is 3D capability, a PVR (personal video recorder) and the ability to access content and apps through your home broadband connection with its built-in wi-fi.
The Kogan 65-inch Agora 4K smart TV is available to order here and priced at $1,599 plus delivery. Delivery is only available in Melbourne and Sydney metropolitan areas.
