If you want a tattoo but can’t commit to one that will be on your skin for the rest of your life, then you need Prinker – it is the world’s first digital device that can apply a temporary tattoo of your choosing in a fun and safe way.
And we got a demonstration when we saw the device at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The Prinker flagship model is 14.6cm long and 9.2mm wide and weighs 331g while the new light model is even smaller at 10.3cm long and 7.55cm wide and just 169g.
Prinker can handle printing on skin or paper and uses safe cosmetic ink.
The mini printer pairs via Bluetooth to a companion app which offers users thousands of designs that are ready to go – or you can upload your own.
At CES, we tried this for ourselves and had the CES logo printed on our arm.
First, they sprayed a little ink primer on the inside of my forearm.
Prinker was simply rubbed along my skin and the logo was there – clear and sharp.
And don’t worry the tattoo easily washes off.
Prinker – just like a larger printer – takes special ink cartridges.
So now you can show your style with a tattoo you can change every day if you like – thanks to Prinker.
Prinker goes on sale in the US this month and is priced at $US199 (smaller Prinker M) and $US269 for the larger Prinker S.
Prinker says it ships to customers world-wide from its website.
