Samsung has announced it will be offering two larger sizes for its Galaxy ring and new features for the Samsung Health app to offer more personalised tracking.
At launch, Samsung’s Galaxy ring was available in sizes from 5 to 13 which meant that any customers with larger fingers were ruled out.
The only Galaxy Ring I got to fit me when I reviewed it was the top size at the time – 13. And I don’t have overly big fingers.
What makes the sizing slightly different between a regular ring and Galaxy Ring is the fact the Galaxy ring has sensors inside which reduce the amount of space for your finger.
Usually I’m a size 11 in rings but with the Galaxy ring I had to go all the way up to 13.
So now, any customers who were unable to fit into Galaxy Ring at launch can now go ahead and try on the larger sizes 14 and 15.
These new sizes will be available from January 23.
In the Samsung health app users will be able to receive more personalised wellness insights which can improve their sleep and overall wellbeing.
A new feature called Sleep Time Guidance will suggest the best time for each user to go to bed based on their recorded sleep patterns and habits.
The Samsung Health app will also include a new mindfulness tracker which can monitor your moods and mental health to help you achieve a better night’s sleep.
This feature can guide users through breathing exercises and meditations.
