New Huawei Watch GT 2e has improved health and exercise tracking and a two-week battery

Huawei has added a new smartwatch – the Huawei Watch GT 2e – to its portfolio which has a refreshed design and more advanced health and exercise tracking features.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e has a classic design with a circular 1.39-inch precision touch AMOLED display.

For the first time, the Huawei watch includes a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitoring feature which makes it easier to track your health as well as your heart rate.

It will also allow the Huawei Watch GT 2e to detect an abnormal heart rate and keep track of pressure levels and also monitor your sleep.

The device is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin A1 processor and offers a remarkable two week battery life.

“Huawei continues to develop products that push the boundaries of technology and design, and the WATCH GT 2e is no exception,” says Larking Huang, Managing Director of Huawei Consumer Business in Australia.

“As the world continues to demonstrate an ever-growing interest in improved health and wellbeing, we are committed to delivering innovative devices that offer new features to help Aussies reach their personal goals.

“Designed to fit seamlessly into your everyday life, the WATCH GT 2e is evidence of how we are bringing smarter technology and solutions to Australian consumers.”

The watch has a flouroelastomer strap and breathable TPU material so the watch offers both durability and comfort.

As a fitness device, the Huawei Watch GT 2e has solid credentials with the ability to support 15 professional workout modes and 85 customised workout modes.

It can track 190 types of data including duration, calories burnt, heart rate interval, exercise progress, recovery time and much more.

The Huawei Watch GT 2e is available in four colours – graphite black, lava red, mint green and icy white. They are priced at $349.
