The Ducati Urban e-Mobility PRO-I EVO electric scooter, the first with connected technology, has just been launched in Australia through The Good Guys and Retravision stores.

Priced at $899, the Ducati Urban e-Mobility PRO-I EVO is the first electric scooter in the Ducati Urban e-Mobility line and is ideal for going to work, school or taking a ride in your local community.

The scooter brings the spirit of Ducati with a modern and elegant look with strong lines all the way to the rear mudguard.

It is easy to carry around on public transport or in your car thanks to its lightweight aluminium alloy frame that folds down effortlessly.

The Ducati Urban e-Mobility PRO-I EVO electric scooter is 1150mm tall and 1050mm long and, when folded down, it’s just 480mm tall.

Rider comfort is assured with the 8.5-inch inflatable tyres in combination with the dual brakes (rear disc, electric front) with the high visibility front and rear LED lights making it safer to ride at night.

The companion app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store, connects to the scooter via Bluetooth and allows users to monitor the scooter’s performance and functions including battery level, maps for navigation and more.

The onboard 350W brushless motor and 280Wh battery provides a maximum speed of 25km/h (6km/h in ECO mode).

It has silent-riding technology which requires minimal maintenance with a low level of wear and impressive performance at all speeds.

There’s also a cruise control which can be activated through the app so you can maintain a constant speed without pressing the accelerator.

This can be deactivated within the app or by simply tapping the brake.

The Ducati Urban e-Mobility PRO-I EVO electric scooter has been brought to the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Island markets by IQU Group Pty Ltd which was created by former Alcatel /TCL senior executives Sam Skontos, Paul Lakkis and Arnaud Abad.

They have more than 60 years of combined experience in consumer electronics and have sourced premium suppliers to bring some exciting brands to Australia and other markets.

“We are excited to bring a premium brand such as Ducati Urban e-Mobility to the Australian market and offer our customers high quality, innovative technology at the best possible value,” says Sam Skontos, Chief Executive Officer & Director of IQU Group.

“We have been successful with this strategy for the last 15 years and now will extrapolate this further with our new range of Ducati urban e-mobility products.”

The Ducati Urban e-Mobility PRO-I EVO electric scooter is available now for $899 from The Good Guys and Retravision.
