Modern technology gives us many things.

Apple will reportedly be launching a new iPhone in March

Apple will reportedly be holding hold a virtual event on March 8 which could reveal the latest version of the iPhone SE and new iPad Air models.

There could also be a new Mac introduced – but it probably won’t be a new iMac.

This will not be an in-person event – instead it will be an all-digital and virtual event which Apple has produced flawlessly for the last two years.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman – it will all be happening on March 8 (early March 9 AEDT)

The big rumour is Apple introducing a new and updated iPhone SE which would still maintain the design of the iPhone 8 but with a new A15 chip, an improved camera and 5G connectivity.

The iPhone SE has always been Apple’s cheapest iPhone with reports indicating the device will remain affordable while offering more advanced features.

The iPad Air – which now has a buttonless, all-screen design – will also be updated with a faster processor and will also graduate to 5G.

There’s an outside possibility that we’ll see the iPad Air available in new colours.

And will we see a new Mac?

We probably will – but it won’t be the highly anticipated iMac Pro with Apple’s new M Series processors.

It’s likely to be the Mac Mini with the M1 Pro and M1 Max silicone.

The other Macs we can expect later this year are the refreshed 24-inch iMac and an updated 13-inch MacBook Pro.

But we are unlikely to see or any other Macs until the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference in early June which is likely to be held virtually again for the third year in a row.

A new iMac and updated MacBook Pros could be unveiled at this event, but it is more likely for them to be introduced during an event either just before or following the iPhone 14 launch event in September.
