Sennheiser has just released its new CX Plus True Wireless high-quality earphones with active noise cancellation – but at a more affordable price.
Priced at $259.95, the Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earphones include the German-engineered true response transducer which brings higher quality audio to everyday listening.
The acoustic system offers high fidelity stereo sound with solid bass, natural mids and detailed treble.
Also on board is active noise cancellation which allows the listener to focus on what they’re listening to without the distraction of a noisy environment.
It also has a Transparent Hearing mode so you could also focus on external sounds without the need to remove the earphones.
This is a practical feature for letting outside sound in so you are more aware of your surroundings especially when you’re outside exercising.
The earphones have customizable touch controls so you can easily navigate your music, answer your calls and access your voice assistant.
Each of the ear buds has dual mics that optimise speech for calls and voice assistant access.
Each earbud is independent so you can just use the right or left ear buds individually or as a pair.
Smart Pause also can detect when earbuds are taken out and automatically pauses the audio and then instantly resumes playback when there replaced.
The CX Plus True Wireless earphones also offer Bluetooth 5.2 compatibility and SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive codec support so you have high resolution and low latency audio that can also sync when watching your video content.
The Sennheiser Smart Control app also has a built-in equaliser and several presets to offer a personalised audio experience.
On the design side, the Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earphones are compact and securely fit in your ears even when listening on the move or while you’re exercising.
The phones have an IPX4 rating which makes them splash resistant so you can still use them while sweating it out in the gym and even if you get caught in the rain.
Between the earphones and the charging case, users have up to 24 hours of playback time.
The Sennheiser CX Plus True Wireless earphones will be available in black or white from September 28 and will be priced at $259.95.
