Amazon’s latest Echo smart display – the re-imagined Echo Show 10 – goes on sale in Australia today. The device has a 10.1-inch HD display that can follow you as you move around the room so the screen can always remain in view.
Priced at $399, the third generation Echo Show 10 can move with you as you interact with Alexa or enjoy your favourite shows on Amazon Prime and Netflix.
It’s also a useful tool when following a recipe with the screen able follow you as you move around the kitchen.
Also onboard the Echo Show 10 is a 13-megapixel camera which has a 110-degree field of view which can pan, zoom and move to keep people in the frame on a video call.
Users can securely and remotely access the Echo Show 10’s built-in camera to monitor your home through the Alexa app or through other Echo Show devices – so it’s a security camera as well.
And, of course, the Echo Show 10 is a speaker too with built in dual, front firing tweeters and a powerful woofer which offers directional sound that can adapt to your space.
Users can disconnect the microphone and camera with one press of a button as well as a built-in shutter to cover the camera.
The Echo Show 10 is priced at $399 and available from amazon.com.au and JB Hi-Fi.
