Vodafone has revealed its version of shared plans which will not only allow users to share their data but also calls, international calls, texts and access to $5 Roaming across up to 10 devices.
Vodafone Shared will be available next month for existing, new and upgrading customers on a Red plan and makes it possible for families to share everything that’s included on that plan.
This means households can share the same plan on smartphones and tablets while still receiving only a single bill.
Customers need to be on a 12 or 24-month Red plan to start sharing.
Once a primary plan is selected customers can either bundle a shared plan with a new smartphone or tablet or bring their own devices.
There is no activation fee to activate sharing. Shared plans have no lock-in contract period and are offered month-to-month and are available for smartphones and tablets.
On the smartphone side you can add a Shared Plan from $30 a month which comes with its own 1GB of data and standard national and international calls and texts are shared from the primary plan.
Shared Plans for tablets start at $10 a month with 1GB of included data.
Access to $5 a day roaming in 47 countries will be charged at $5 per device.
