DJI has expanded its creative camera range with the new Osmo Nano – a wearable action camera that can be mounted anywhere.

Nano is equipped with the 1/1.3 inch sensor and a high performance image processor which still offers up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range.

It’s tiny design makes the Osmo Nano easy to mount anywhere.

It weighs just 52g and measures 5.7cm long and 2.9cm wide.

There are attachments for the Osmo Nano so it can rest on a headband, helmet, lanyard, hat or anywhere else to allow you to film your unique vantage point.

And you can even take it outdoors and underwater – it is waterproof to a depth of 10m without the need for any additional housing.

Users can also pair it with the Multi-Functional Vision Doc which includes an OLED touchscreen.

The Vision Dock can also be used to control the Osmo Nano remotely.

The 1/1.3-inch sensor offers impressive image quality when considering the size of the camera.

Osmo Nano can shoot 4K/60fps and 4K/120 FPS slow motion.

It also has 143-degree ultra-wide field of view so you’re not going to miss a moment.

The Osmo Nano is the only wearable camera this size that still offers 10-bit, which can capture up to 1 billion colours and 72 per cent more colour then an 8-bit standard video.

It also offers D-Log M colour mode to maintain colour and brightness information and offer more flexibility for postproduction and creative editing.

Also onboard is Horizon Balancing to maintain horizon level and Rock Steady 3.0 to reduce camera shake and provide the ultimate image stabilisation.

The Osmo Nano Multi-Functional Vision Dock can also double as a display screen, remote photo trigger as well as a charging station and a high speed file transfer station.

The magnetic design adds to the versatility and allows the Osmo Nano to be mounted in the dock in any direction say you can switch between selfies and portraits.

As a charger, the dock can get the camera up to 80 per cent battery level in just 20 minutes.

On a full charge, Osmo Nano can record up to 200 minutes at Full HD while Endurance mode can capture 4K/30fps for up to 60 minutes in 16:9.

The camera has dual built in microphones for stereo recording so users can create an immersive first person experience.

OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection means it’s possible to capture studio quality sound through the Osmo Nano by connecting it directly to two DJI microphone transmitters without the need for a receiver.

There are also a number of shooting modes including horizontal and vertical shooting, and auto recording which can set shooting intervals and clip durations.

It also has gesture control so you can trigger recording with a nod or a tap.

The camera also has a Pre Rec mode which means it’ll automatically save footage even from before the record button is pressed.

The Osmo Nano comes into memory capacities 64GB and 128GB – which is enough space for hours of video.

The Multi-Function Vision Dock has a built-in microSD card slot to save the footage and transfer it.

It’s also possible to connect mobile devices or computers using a PD fast-charging cable for transfers up to 600MB/s.
