JBL has released its latest Tour headphones and earphones – the JBL Tour Pro+ TWS and the JBL Tour One which both have active noise cancellation so you can block out your noisy environment and focus on your music.
JBL TOUR PRO+ TWS EARPHONES – $329.95
JBL’s true wireless earphones have adaptive noise cancelling technology which uses internal and external microphones to gauge the ambient sounds around you and adjust in real time so you can eliminate distractions and enjoy your content.
But for the times where you need to be alert to the world around you, the JBL earphones also have smart ambient technology so you can hear your surroundings quite clearly.
This feature also applies when making calls with two microphones that focus on your voice and a third to reduce wind and other sounds.
JBL delivers its signature Pro Sound to the JBL Tour Pro Plus TWS through the onboard 6.8mm dynamic drivers so you get a rich and powerful sound from the top notes all the way to the bass.
Users can customise the sound with the My JBL Headphones app and set up custom equalises or use one of the presets.
Design-wise the JBL earphones have a compact design with the ear tip angled to fit comfortably in your ears for hours at a time.
There’s also a small wing at the top of the earbud so it remains even more secure when it is twisted into place.
You also get a stable connection with your smartphone thanks to dual connect which means each earbud connects independently via Bluetooth.
This allows you to assign functions and take calls from either earbud or both.
Users can enjoy up to 8 hours of playback with ANC turned off and six hours with ANC on with a further 24 hours of charge from the charging case.
JBL TOUR ONE HEADPHONES – $349.95
JBL’s Tour One headphones also have true adaptive noise cancelling capabilities that can adjust to your surroundings and apply the right amount of correction so all you’re hearing is your music.
And you can keep in touch with your surroundings with Ambient Aware and even be able to talk to someone without having to turn off your music with the TalkThru feature.
If you want to create your own silent bubble, then you can activate SilentNow which activates noise cancellation but keeps your music off for those times where you just need a quiet space.
Phone calls are also crystal clear thanks to the four microphones on the earcups and two adaptive beamforming microphones so your voice can be heard clearly.
The headphones offer a secure fit with swivelling ear cups so they can be positioned perfectly every time.
The soft padding on both the ear cups and the headband also ensure comfort for hours at a time.
Like the JBL Tour earphones, the headphones can also be adapted with a custom equaliser through the My JBL Headphones app.
Of course, sound quality is impressive through the dynamic 40mm drivers which are high-res audio certified.
The JBL Tour One Headphones also offer up to 50 hours of music playback without noise cancelling and up to 25 hours with noise cancelling on.
