With the use of data on our mobile plans on the rise, the new Vodafone pre-paid plans reflect this trend as well.

The pre-paid caps will be offered at $30, $40 and $50 and users will receive up to a bonus 500MB of data per month if they recharge their cap online at www.vodafone.com.au or through the MyVodafone app on iPhone and Android.

On the $30 plan users receive 1GB of data plus an additional 250MB for online recharge with $450 value for calls and unlimited text messages.

On the $40 plan there’s 2GB data and an additional 500MB for online recharge with $750 worth of calls and infinite texts.

The international calls on these plans are drawn from the cap’s credit value.

If you move up to the $50 plan there’s 3.5GB data that includes the online recharge bonus plus unlimited calls, unlimited texts and even unlimited international calls to the 10 nominated countries.

“Because Vodafone is part of the world’s second largest mobile network, we are able to offer our Prepaid customers the ability to call their friends and family around the world at no extra cost,” said Vodafone’s General Manager of Prepaid, Mehul Dave.

“Prepaid data plans haven’t typically included as generous data inclusions as that of postpaid plans.

“We want our customers to enjoy using data freely, with more data inclusions to enjoy than ever before.”
