Toshiba DUO 2-in-1 USB drive connects to mobiles and computers

Carrying around and sharing your favourite content just got easier with the new Toshiba DUO 2-in-1 USB flash drive.

The tiny device – available in capacities 16GB, 32GB and 64GB – can connect with your PC or Mac computer as well as with your Android smartphone or tablet.

The Toshiba DUO is just 3.6cm long and has a USB 3.0 connection on one side that can slot into the USB port on your computer.

When connected to your Mac or PC it’s simply a matter of dragging and dropping music, pictures and videos to the USB drive.

Similarly content can also be dragged off the Toshiba DUO and copied to your computer.

On the other end of the product under a removable plastic cap is a microUSB plug that can connect to Android smartphones and tablets.

When connected to an Android mobile device, users can access the content aboard the Toshiba DUO 2-in-1 drive.

So if you’ve loaded the device up with movies, TV shows, music, pictures and documents, you can access them on your Android device.

It’s an ideal way to have your favourite content in one place.

If you’re about to go on a long flight you can load up all of the movies and TV shows you want watch from your computer to the Toshiba DUO USB drive before heading to the airport.

And when you’re onboard you can connect the small drive to your Android smartphone or tablet and enjoy all of that content.

The Toshiba DUO 2-in-1 USB flash drive makes it easy to transfer content on and off mobile devices as well as on and off computers.

The device also makes it possible to transfer content between devices without an internet connection.

The Toshiba DUO works with Android devices that support USB On-The-Go (OTG) – a feature that allows the USB drive to recognised by the smartphone or tablet before accessing the onboard content.

Users can also use the device with Windows devices – including laptops, smartphones and computers – and also allows PC users to encrypt files when saved from the Windows operating system.

The Toshiba DUO 2-in-1 USB flash drive is available now and priced at $35 (16GB), $55 (32GB) and $95 (64GB).
