LG releases stylish L Series smartphones

lgoptimusthumbLG has launched its new smartphone range – the Optimus L Series – which includes four stylish handsets to suit a wide range of mobile customers.

The devices, led by the flagship Optimus L7, are all running Google’s Android operating system and have capacitive touchscreen displays.

LG’s Optimus L Series were first unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February and are now available in Australia.

Optimus L7

At the top of the range for the L Series is the Optimus L7 which has a 4.3-inch bright NOVA display and a 5-megapixel camera with continuous auto focus.

With a 1Ghz processor under the hood, the L7 is also running the latest Android 4.0 operating system and has a microSD card slot to expand the memory.

The Optimus L7 is available now through Optus dealers for $269 pre-paid or post-paid on a $30 plan.

Optimus L5

The L5 features LG’s signature L Style design with a 4-inch touchscreen and an 800Mhz processor.

Also onboard is a 5-megapixel camera and the Android 4.0 operating system.

Another feature of the L5 is Quick Memo which allows users to capture screen shots and write notes on the phone using their finger or a stylus and share with friends via email, SMS or social networks.

The Optimus L3 will be available through Boost Mobile for $199.

Optimus L3,

The L3 has a smaller compact design with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, is running Android 2.3 operating system and the onboard memory is expandable with the microSD card slot.

Also included is an 800Mhz processor and a 3-megapixel camera.

The Optimus L3 is available through Telstra stores for a $99 pre-paid.

Optimus L2

The L2 is one of the few handsets on the market which has dual SIM capability to make it easier for users to manage two mobile numbers – like work and personal – using a single handset.

A dedicated hot key on the device also makes it easy to switch between SIM cards quickly and easily.

The L2 has a 3.2-inch screen, Android 2.3 operating system, 800Mhz processor, 1GB of internal memory and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

The L2 is available through Boost Mobile for $119 pre-paid.
