0

golfbuddyreview2It’s a great time of year to play golf and the new GolfBuddy WT3 GPS watch can get you closer to the pin than ever before and slice shots off your game.

GolfBuddy is no stranger to producing useful products for the golf course and the WT3 watch is a fine addition that offers a wealth of features right on your wrist.

Preloaded on the device are more than 36,000 international courses in more than 130 countries so no matter where your golf travels may take you, the GolfBuddy WT3 can still be your virtual caddy.

And more than 1,000 of those are golf courses that are right here in Australia.

Being preloaded means users don’t need to rely on any outside or third party databases.

And this is all available without the need to pay for expensive annual subscriptions or memberships.

Once the WT3 links to GPS you’ll have accurate distances to the hole, the front, middle and back of the green and to any hazards that may be on the course.

These distances are actually verified on foot so you’re getting incredible accuracy.

This precise information includes Dynamic Green View so you can see the shape of the green and Moveable Pin technology so your view of the green matches the placement of the hole for that round.

The GolfBuddy WT3 GPS watch provides a wealth of information and distances for your round

Each hole is displayed with distance and par information with users able to choose between yards or metres distance measurement.

Players can measure their shots so they know exactly how far they can hit each iron or driver as well as keep track of their round with the built-in scorecard feature.

A built-in odometer can also let users know the distance they’ve walked.

And of course the device can be worn all day off the course as a regular watch with clock, date and stopwatch functionality onboard.

The GolfBuddy WT3 has an LCD display which has a brightness option and it weighs just 73g. Size wise the device is no chunkier than a regular sports watch with a thickness of 16mm on your wrist.

It also has a battery that will run for 50 days between charges in watch mode and nine hours in golf mode which is enough time for a couple of rounds before it needs a recharge.

And there’s no worry about getting WT3 wet – it has an IPX7 waterproof rating.

The GolfBuddy WT3 GPS watch is available now and is priced at $249.95.
