Canon releases new range of smart and stylish IXUS cameras

canonixus150newCanon has released the new cameras to the popular IXUS range that includes improved image processing and easy-to-use shooting modes.

The IXUS155, IXUS 150 and IXUS145 will feel right at home in the hands of budding photographers thanks to its simple operation and “point and shoot” intelligence.

The IXUS155 has a 10x optical zoom and 20-megapixel sensor along with a colourful and clean design.

With Canon’s advanced optical image stabiliser onboard, the new IXUS cameras can deliver impressive results every time.

This is helped along with the Canon Smart Auto Technology that can analyse the scene for you and automatically select the right settings from 32 different choices.

Also on board is a Help button that can explain the device’s key features and tips on capturing the best shots.

The Canon IXUS145

Users can choose from a number of effects and filters like Miniature, Fish-eye and Toy Camera to add even more fun to your images.

Apart from still images – the new IXUS155, IXUS150 and IXUS145 can also capture high definition 720p video that can be activated through a dedicated Movie button so it’s even easier to switch modes.

On the back of each model is a 2.7-inch (6.8cm) screen to make it even easier to frame your picture of video and immediately review the shot you’ve just taken.

The Canon IXUS155

IXUS155 key features:

* Ultra-wide angle 10x optical zoom and 20x ZoomPlus

* Stylish, ultra compact body with metal exterior

* Intelligent Image Stabilizer for sharp photos and movies

* Smart Auto gives beautiful shots with one simple click

* Available in Silver, Blue and Red

The Canon IXUS150

IXUS150 key features:

* 16 Megapixels for detailed shots

* 8x optical zoom and 16x ZoomPlus to get you closer

* Stylish, ultra compact body with metal exterior

* Intelligent Image Stabilizer for sharp photos and movies

* Smart Auto gives beautiful shots with one simple click

* Available in Red and Silver

Each of the new models have a 2.7-inch screen liek the on the Canon IXUS145

IXUS145 key features:

* 16 Megapixels for detailed shots

* 8x optical zoom and 16x ZoomPlus to get you closer

* Smart Auto gives beautiful shots with one simple click

* Instant HD movies (720p) with movie button

* 6.8 cm (2.7”) LCD for easy framing and viewing

* Available in Black, Red and Purple

 The Canon IXUS155, IXUS150 and IXUS145 are available now with pricing set at the retailer’s discretion.
