The trio of new apps, which are all compatible with Windows 8, include SafeGuard, Go Anywhere and Direct Pass.
Trend Micro’s SafeGuard is an web browser optimised for Windows 8 tablets with built-in security features for safer use of the web, web searches and social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+.
Trend Micro’s SafeGuard is a free download from the Windows 8 Store and is a part of Trend Micro’s Titanium prescription.
Trend Micro’s Go Everywhere is an app which can help locate lost tablets that have been stolen or misplaced with one click on a Google map.
The app can also sound a one-minute alarm on the tablet to alert people nearby of its whereabouts whether it’s been left behind in a café or hidden under a cushion on your couch.
Anyone who struggles to remember all their different passwords can also make use of the free Trend Micro Direct Pass.
It can save and protect your passwords and provide in-the-cloud synchronisation across a number of devices so you can manage your passwords anywhere.
Titanium – Trend Micro’s flagship security product – has also been improved and has full compatibility with Windows 8.
Trend Micro’s Titanium is a complete internet security solution so you can safely connect, search and explore social networking sites.
The product also includes a brand new feature to protect your privacy on Facebook so you can control who sees your profile.
Titanium also identifies dangerous links on Facebook and Twitter along with Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+ and MySpace.
