Toshiba has just unveiled its new range of consumer laptops which all include new designs and features at every price point for beginners to professionals.
There are 32 new models in the line-up that are aimed at students, creative professionals and families.
World-first technologies have also been introduced in Toshiba’s new range including 4K Ultra HD touchscreen displays and the first laptop to earn a Technicolor Colour Certification.
The flagship notebooks of the new Toshiba models are the Satellite P50t and the Satellite S50.
TOSHIBA SATELLITE P50t – $1,699 – $2,499
The standout feature of the Satellite P50t is the 15.6-inch Ultra HD TruBrite touchscreen – the world’s first laptop to include a 4K screen with four times the resolution of a regular full HD screen.
This higher resolution screen will be welcomed by photographers, videographers and graphic designers to create and review their work with a whole new level of detail.
Each of the Toshiba Ultra HD screens is Technicolor Certified during manufacturing to ensure absolute colour accuracy for the true-to-life imagery.
Under the hood is a quad-core Intel i7 processor for enhanced performance and a battery that will last the entire day.
On the audio side there are also Harman Kardon speakers onboard that include DTS audio processing to make your gaming and movies even more enjoyable.
TOSHIBA SATELLITE S50 – $1,399 – $1,499
The Satellite S50 has a 15.6-inch screen and is just 19.9mm thick making it thinner than most Ultrabooks.
It weighs in at 2.23kg and is available in touch or non-touch screen options.
The keyboard features contoured and raised keys with optional LED backlighting for a more comfortable typing experience.
The Toshiba Satellite S50 also has Harman Kardon speakers so the notebook can be as much an entertainment device as it is a productivity tool.
