STM, the Australian laptop bag and accessories company, has just launched its new Velocity collection of bags that have a smart design and lots of storage space.
The Velocity continues the STM tradition of providing attractive, functional bags that allows users to safely and comfortably transport their digital devices.
The range has adopted a fresh design and style that will make them appeal to both men and women.
Included in the new collection are the Impulse backpack, the Velo 2 shoulder bag, the Linear vertical shoulder bag, the stylish Maryanne Tote and the Blazer laptop sleeve/bag.
IMPULSE
Designed to hold a 15-inch laptop, the STM Impulse backpack is deceptively spacious with a main laptop compartment, a dedicated tablet pocket and a luggage pass through so it can be secured to a larger wheel bag’s handle.
A second area can hold documents and has plenty of room for other bulkier items. On the front is an organiser pocket with areas to store a smartphone, pens and other small accessories along with a key clip.
Along the bottom of the front panel is another small quick access pocket, a side zippered pocket for a pair of sunglasses or a smartphone and there’s even room for your water bottle on the other side.
The Impulse backpack can also be worn comfortably thanks to the adjustable padded straps and cushioning on the back of the bag.
The STM Impulse backpack is available in black or grey and is priced at $119.95.
VELO 2
The Velo 2 bag is available in small and medium sizes to fit 13-inch and 15-inch laptops respectively.
The Velo 2 messenger style shoulder bag has plenty of space and compartments to fit in all of your devices and accessories.
The main compartment under the front flap has space for bulkier items along with a tablet pocket and an elasticised pocket to keep items in place.
Under this is another organiser front pocket to store office supplies, pens and other items as well as another zippered storage pocket on top of that that.
On each side is a long vertical storage area suitable for things like water bottles, mini tripods, cables and chargers. There’s also a back pocket with a bottom zipper to turn it into a pass through to fit onto a wheeled luggage bag handle.
So where does the laptop fit? It actually fits into a discreet zippered and padded compartment accessible on the left side of the Velo 2.
The Velo 2 is available in grey, black and blue and in small and medium sizes and is priced at $119.95.
LINEAR
The sleek Linear bag is a vertical shoulder bag with versions to fit 13-inch and 15-inch laptops.
And by vertical we mean the laptop is stored inside the bag vertically rather than horizontally. This keeps the bag thinner but doesn’t skimp on the storage space.
Apart from the laptop compartment, there’s also a tablet sleeve and a front pocket under the front flap. Below this is a zippered organiser compartment for pens, pads and other accessories.
On the front flap itself is another side fleecy lined pocket to store things like a smartphone or sunglasses without the risk of scratching them.
The back also has another easy access pocket and a strap that can help attach the Linear to the handle of a larger bag.
STM’s Linear is available in grey, black, blue and berry and is priced at $89.95.
MARYANNE
Fashion conscious people still have to carry around their computers as well and they can tick both of those boxes with STM’s Maryanne tote shoulder bag.
It has a quick grab pocket on the front with an organiser panel and another easy access pocket on the back.
There are two main compartments accessible from the top of the bag – one is padded and fleecy lined to store a 13-inch laptop as well as a tablet while the other has an internal zippered pocket and a second organiser panel.
The bag’s handles can be adjusted for use over the shoulder or shortened to use as regular carry handles.
The Maryanne is available in berry and grey and is priced at $119.95.
BLAZER
The Blazer is a laptop sleeve on steroids. Not only can it fit in a 13-inch or 15-inch laptop in the fleecy lined compartment but there’s also a zippered front pocket for cables and a comfortable quick grab handle on the end.
There’s also a dedicated front pocket to fit your smartphone along with removable and adjustable shoulder straps.
The Blazer is available in blue, black, grey and berry and is priced at $59.95.
The STM Velocity range is available now in selected stores with a wider release to even more retailers in March.
