versakeyboard2An iPad case with a keyboard is handy but when you’re not typing the keyboard can get in the way but Moshi has solved the problem with its new VersaKeyboard.

Moshi, a company that creates stylish mobile accessories, has released the VersaKeyboard for iPad Air that combines its bestselling VersaCover with a removable keyboard.

The case has an origami-style cover that can be folded into a stand while on the back is a slot to hide the Bluetooth keyboard when it’s not in use.

When you’re ready to get to work, simply slide out the keyboard and pair it to the iPad Air wirelessly with Bluetooth.

Users can then adjust the cover into a stand to comfortably position the iPad Air for typing.

And when you’re done it is easy to slide the keyboard away into the slot on the back of the case.

The good news is that even with the Bluetooth keyboard hidden away on the back of the Moshi VersaKeyboard it is still remarkably thin and light at 1.5cm and 380g.

The keyboard itself is almost fullsize – 80 per cent of a standard keyboard to be precise – and has good sized keys and lots of assigned function keys.

There is an internal battery onboard the keyboard, which can be recharged via the microUSB port, will run for an amazing 130 hours on a full charge.

The Moshi VersaKeyboard for iPad Air is available now for $129.95 and be purchased from Streetwise, Gadgets Boutique, Mac Centre Norwood, Mac1, MacFixit, My Byte, Beezer, Mullum Mac, Concept Systems, iLove Computers.
