HP has unveiled its new range of ultrabooks with sleek new laptops that combine style and performance for both consumers and business users.
The new products included the Envy Spectre XT and the Envy SleekBook.
There are also the EliteBook Folio 9470m and 2170p business ultrabooks.
HP ENVY SPECTRE XT
The Envy Spectre XT has an all-metal design and is just 14.5mm thick with a weight of only 1.39kg.
Onboard is a high definition 13.3-inch display with a slim bezel and an optional 256GB of faster solid state storage.
Despite its svelte design there are also a full range of ports including a Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI.
Powered by the latest Intel Core processors designed especially for the ultrabook form factor, the HP Envy Spectre XT also includes Beats Audio for an enhanced sound experience through the device’s four speakers.
The HP Envy Spectre XT will be available in mid-June with pricing yet to be announced.
HP ENVY SLEEKBOOK
The HP Envy SleekBook has larger 14-inch and 15.6-inch screens and up to eight or nine hours of battery life respectively.
The Envy Sleekbooks are 19.8mm thick and weigh 1.75kg and are available in black or red.
It also features solid state drive options as well as Beats Audio.
The HP Envy SleekBooks will be available from mid-May with pricing yet to be confirmed.
HP ELITEBOOK FOLIO 9470M
Business users will be better suited to the new HP EliteBook Folio 9470m and Folio 2170p which delivers the style and performance of the rest of the ultrabook range.
But it also adds a layer of security and manageability which is welcomed by company IT departments.
The Folio 9470m has a 14-inch screen, measures just 19mm thick and weighs in at 1.63kg.
It has a full range of ports including USB 3.0, Ethernet, VGA, DisplayPort and has an option for built-in 4G connectivity.
The HP EliteBook Folio 9470m will be available in October.
HP ELITEBOOK FOLIO 2170P
The EliteBook Folio 2170p is the smallest and lightest business notebook and ideal for road warriors who are always on the move.
It has an 11.7-inch screen and weighs just 1.31kg and supports enterprise connectivity, security and management features.
The device provides up to eight hours of battery life to power users through a full work day.
The HP EliteBook Folio 2170p will be available in July with pricing yet to be announced.
