Apple releases new cheaper 21.5-inch iMac all-in-one desktop computer
Apple has released a newer and cheaper version of its entry-level 21.5-inch iMac all-in-one desktop computer.
The price has been slashed on the product which features a slim display, Intel Core i5 processors and running the OS X Mavericks operating system.
Apple’s new lower-priced iMac has a 1.5Ghz dual core Intel Core i5 processor which can run at up to 2.7Ghz with Turbo Boost.
Also on board is Intel HD 5000 graphics, 8GB RAM and a 500GB hard drive.
All iMac models now include the latest and fastest 802.11ac Wi-Fi along with two Thunderbolt ports and four USB 3.0 ports so all your connectivity needs are covered.
Includes with every iMac are the iLife and iWork suite of applications that include iTunes, iPhoto and iMovie along with Keynote, Pages and Numbers so it’s ready to use right out of the box.
The new iMac 21.5-inch model is priced at $1,349 and has configurations that can be made to order if customers want to increase the hard drive capacity to either a 1TB hard drive or a 1TB Fusion Drive.
