Denon reveals HEOS wireless multi-zone speaker system
Leading audio manufacturer Denon has released HEOS – a new wireless multi-zone sound system that can stream your favourite music sources.
The HEOS speakers connect to your home’s wi-fi network and can be controlled from anywhere in your network with an iOS or Android smartphone app.
Due for release in September, the speakers has a curved design with the sides tapering to a sharp edge at the top.
There are three wireless multi-zone music players – starting at $449 all the way up to $899 .
Also available from Denon are a wireless integrated amplifier ($799) and a wireless pre-amplifier ($549)
Users are also able to purchase an access point range extender to increase the reach of their system.
Music can be streamed to individual speakers or all at once.
Popular cloud streaming services like Spotify, Deezer, TuneIn Radio and Pandora can be enjoyed through Denon’s HEOS speakers.
Each speaker has high quality audio synchronisation along with professional level digital signal processing (DSP).
Also onboard HEOS is MaxxAudio by Waves – a sound enhancement technology to optimise the listening experience.
The HEOS speaker can easily connect to your network wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable.
Also on board is a USB port and 3.5mm auxiliary input to allow playback from other devices.
Music can be streamed from your PC or Mac or a network storage device.
The Denon HEOS 3 is priced at $449, HEOS 5 is $599 and HEOS 7 will be available for $899.
