boseqc205If you want to enjoy your music on the move but don’t want to wear headphones a new portable Bluetooth wireless speaker from Bose can offer quality for all to hear.

The SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker is small enough to rest in the palm of your hand but still delivers the sound you’d expect from a much larger speaker.

The go-anywhere device measures just 18cm wide, 5.1cm wide and 5.8cm thick and weighs 670g.

Users can stream their content wirelessly via Bluetooth from their tablet or smartphone and any other compatible device.

The Bose SoundLink Mini has a sturdy aluminium construction with speaker grills front and back.

Across the top are controls for volume, mute, Bluetooth on/off and AUX mode.

Also included with the product is a charging dock the speaker rests on when not in use.

The onboard rechargeable battery lasts up to seven hours on a full charge but it takes three hours to get that full charge so it’s good to have it on the charging dock when you’re not using it.

Users can also plug the power adaptor directly to the speaker through a port on the right side.

The right side of the Bose SoundLink Mini also has the AUX IN port which allows devices to be physically connected with a cable.

There’s also a small microUSB port on the base which can be used for future software updates to stay compatible with upcoming versions of Bluetooth.

Playback can be controlled through the device you’re streaming from so there is no dedicated remote control required for the speakers.

And if you’re using it with your phone and you get a call, it won’t play through the speaker.

Instead it will pause the music and divert back to the phone to allow you to answer the call on your device before resuming the music through the speakers.

Having speakerphone capability in this instance would have been a nice choice to maintain the whole handsfree experience.

The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker comes with its own charging dock

But it’s the audio quality that’s going to amaze users with a large and rich sound from such a small device.

Bose’s proprietary technology and driver configuration work together to deliver the typical high sound quality we come to expect from its products.

The SoundLink Mini provides the full audio range along with a satisfying amount of bass.

And the fact this excellent sound is coming from a device of this size is simply astonishing.

The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speakers are small enough to take anywhere

There also soft covers available for the Bose SoundLink Mini to not only protect it when you take it out with you but also to add a bit of colour – blue, green and orange.

The Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker is an ideal companion for anyone who wants to hear their music anywhere in the best quality.
