Modern technology gives us many things.

Auris Bluetooth dongle turns your dock into a wireless system

auris1If you’ve got a speaker dock or high-end system but want to play your tunes wirelessly then the Auris Bluetooth receiver can set your music free.

The small device fits onto the 30-pin connector on your speaker dock or to your system via the 3.5mm AUX stereo jack with the included cable.

It measures just 3.5cm wide and 4.3cm long so it’s easy to attach to any system and available in two colours – black or white.

Auris can turn a speaker dock or audio system into a wireless solution and also re-unite the iPhone 5 – with the new smaller dock connector – to docks and devices with the older 30-pin connector.

The Auris Bluetooth dongle has a 30-pin dock connector and an AUX stereo jack to turn your audio product into a wireless system

The Auris has the latest Bluetooth 4.0 onboard with A2DP1.2 AVRCP1.4 profile and works within a range of up to 10m.

It also uses AptX technology which provides higher Airplay-like audio quality so your music sounds like it should.

When resting in a dock the device draws its power from the product it’s attached to but it does have its own rechargeable battery that can last up to 12 hours on a single charge.

The rechargeable lithium ion battery is handy when using the dock outdoors where there’s no power.

When paired to the iPhone or iPad, the Auris displays a battery meter at the top of your display so you know exactly how much power you’ve got left.

There are buttons on the side of the product which can be used to control the volume and also to navigate the music.

The Auris - available in black and white - also has volume and music control and a microphone to answer calls and for voice commands

A long press of the + and – buttons adjusts the volume while a quick press will either advance the track or restart the track or go to the previous song.

There’s also a built-in microphone so it can be used as a speakerphone and can even relay voice commands through compatible devices using applications like Siri and S Voice.

Each Auris device can store up to eight paired devices that can automatically reconnect when they come back into range.

Auris will work with Bluetooth-compatible products including the iPhone, iPad, Android smartphones and tablets as well as Windows Phone and BlackBerry devices.

The Auris is available now and is priced at $69.95.
