Foxtel Play now available for PlayStation 3 users
Foxtel Play is now available for the PlayStation 3 to allow users to access more than 45 channels through their connected gaming console.
There are more than two million PlayStation 3 owners in Australia who can now access pay TV content like live sport, latest movies and premium TV shows like the upcoming fourth season of Game of Thrones.
PS3 owners can subscribe to the Foxtel Play service through their PlayStation Network (PSN).
Foxtel Play will also be coming soon to the PlayStation 4. It is already available on the Xbox 360, PC and Mac computers as well as LG and Samsung smart TVs.
Foxtel Play taps into the customer’s broadband connection which is already linked to their device and content can be accessed within minutes after signing up.
There are no lock-in contracts and no installation costs and subscribers can stop and start their monthly subscription at any time.
Foxtel Play packages start at $25 per month with subscribers able to choose their packages – entertainment, drama, documentaries, kids – and also add extras like Sports and Premium Movies and Drama.
The channels include Fox8, Arena, FX, National Geographic Channel, Disney, Fox Sports, Showcase, Sky News, Channel V, MTV along with movie channels for premiere movies, action, thrillers, family films and comedies.
Foxtel Play customers will also qualify to use the Foxtel Go app as part of their subscription that allows them to watch their favourite Foxtel channels on up to two additional devices including iPhones, iPads and selected Samsung Android tablets and smartphones.
