JBL’s new BAR Soundbar range adds serious audio punch to your viewing experience

Sound plays such a big part in the enjoyment of movies and TV shows so it’s worth taking a look at a soundbar that can really improve the audio and provide an even more immersive experience.

JBL has just released the BAR series of soundbars to suit all budgets and all audio tastes.

There are three new models which all offer a sleek minimal design and can create home theatre quality directional audio.

The soundbars available now include: BAR 2.0 All-In-One, BAR 2.1 Deep Bass and BAR 5.1 Surround.

The JBL BAR 9.1 ATMOS will be available in July.

JBL BAR 2.0 – $279.95

BAR 2.0 is a compact soundbar that produces a big sound and is ideal for smaller rooms and apartments.

It offers viewers Dolby Digital and JBL Surround Sound and also has Bluetooth onboard so it can be used to stream your music to play through the device.

Whether you’re watching movies or sport, the JBL BAR 2.0 can make a huge difference without the need for extra speakers and cables.

JBL BAR 2.1 – $549.95

BAR 2.1 delivers 300W of JBL’s signature sound and also comes with a 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer to add even more impact to the soundtrack.

It connects to your TV with just one optical cable or through the HDMI ARC (audio return channel).

JBL’s BAR 2.1 has a low profile design so it will sit unobtrusively under your TV whether it’s on an entertainment unit or mounted on a wall.

JBL BAR 5.1 – $799.95

If you want to take your entertainment to the next level then the JBL BAR 5.1 is what you need.

There is 550W of thumping power as well as a 10-inch powered subwoofer that offers tremendous bass.

It also has 4K Ultra HD passthrough so you can enjoy not only great sound but also Dolby Vision.

Also onboard is Chromecast, Airplay 2 and Bluetooth so you can stream content as well.

“Our Soundbar range gets better and better each year. JBL takes its experience in cinema and stadium sound and delivers it in a powerful and high-quality soundbar range,” said Marcus Fry, Country Manager of AUNZ at HARMAN which owns JBL and is part of Samsung Electronics.

“TVs are getting bigger and better with 8K technology and the sound needs to match. With the current environment of staying home and staying safe, entertaining yourself and your family has never been easier.”
