Samsung will next week launch its latest smartphone – the S25 Edge – which will feature a super thin design, cutting-edge new camera system and deeper AI integration.
The S25 Edge was teased back in January at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in San Jose when the Galaxy S25 smartphones were released.
What will set the S25 Edge apart will be its svelte form factor which is believed to be just 5.85mm thick.
The S25 Edge is expected to include a 6.7-inch display and will reportedly include the same 200MP main wide angle camera that can be found on the S25 Ultra.
And the Samsung S25 Edge will also include the latest version of Galaxy AI to help users with their creativity, productivity and efficiency.
In the S25 Edge launch announcement Samsung said: “We’re constantly striving to understand our users’ evolving needs, innovating to bring them what they’re looking for.
“By pushing the boundaries of mobile technology, we’re going beyond what users expect and opening up new possibilities.
“The latest addition to the Galaxy S series is both a powerful AI companion and an engineering marvel, merging flagship-level performance with superior portability.
“This is more than a slim smartphone. Every curve, contour and component reflects a breakthrough in precise engineering to create a premium experience worthy of the S series name.
“The Galaxy S25 Edge not only sets a new standard for what you can achieve with your smartphone, but it also unlocks a new era of growth for the mobile industry.”
Apple is also rumoured to releasing a thin iPhone – the iPhone Air – in September.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be officially launched at 9am on May 13.
We are expecting the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge to go on sale before the end of May.
