Motorola launches three new devices including a 5G version of the Razr folding smartphone
Motorola has released three new smartphones and extended its 5G line-up in Australia. The models include the Moto G9 plus, the Moto G 5G plus and the Motorola Razr 5G.
This new Motorola range offers customers choices whether you prefer a mid-tier device or cutting edge flagship product.
MOTOROLA RAZR 5G – $2,299
Motorola’s foldable Razr device has had a makeover and now includes 5G connectivity.
It has a rear mounted fingerprint sensor and a more tapered chin along with an updated hinge mechanism that adds significant functional changes.
When it is flipped open, the Razr reveals a 6.2-inch Flex View displayed which, when viewed horizontally, offers a 21:9 cinema vision aspect ratio for ideal viewing conditions.
The new Razr has an even slicker form factor with the updated chin design reducing the device’s size while at the same time enabling 5G performance by housing two of the four 5G antennas.
The Razr 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor.
On the camera side, the Razr 5G has a 48-megapixel camera system which can also be used as a selfie camera when the phone is folded shut.
The display works in harmony with Motorola’s new hinge design which has zero gap closure to protect the internal display and keep it at a minimal size.
The front screen now has even more functionality with users able to get a lot done and keep up with their notifications without having to open the device.
The Motorola Razr 5G also has a larger battery to easily keep you powered for an entire day.
MOTO G 5G PLUS – $499
The Moto G 5G Plus is one of the most affordable 5G devices you can buy so it can bring faster connectivity within reach of more Australians to stream content, play intensive online games and take video calls without freezing or buffering.
Onboard is a quad camera system with a 48-megapixel main sensor and Quad Pixel technology with Night Vision that makes every shot work even in low light.
The Moto G 5G plus includes Motorola’s first dual camera selfie system which, thanks to the 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, allows you to fit four times more into the frame.
Also on board is a 6.7-inch Cinema Vision Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate to offer smooth movement through the apps, images and webpages.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 765 5G mobile platform and has a huge 5000mAh battery that can last up to two days use before having to reach for the charger.
MOTO G9 PLUS – $399
The most affordable product is the Moto G9 plus which includes a 64-megapixel quad camera system, a huge 5000mAh battery and a responsive Qualcomm 730G processor to give you a super responsive performance that you’d usually find on a device that’s far more expensive.
The Moto G9 Plus has a 6.81-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 and with an 84.3 per cent screen to body ratio.
The camera system includes a 64-megapixel wide lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth lens.
The front selfie camera which peeks through a hole punch on display has a 16 megapixel resolution.
