Who can remember the feel of keys under your fingers when typing a message back in the day. We’re going back to the future with the new Clicks Keyboard case which provides a full keyboard for your iPhone.
The Clicks Keyboard case is made of soft yet durable silicone and is available for iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max in three colours – Onyx (Black), Spice (Brown) and Surf (Blue).
The keyboard, for us, brought back some muscle memory from the days we used to smash out messages on our Blackberry.
With the Click Keyboard, iPhone users can enjoy the feel of a physical backlit keyboard under their fingers.
Each key is round and slightly concave to make it easier to land on the right key even when you’re typing fast.
It will work anywhere on the iPhone where you can enter text.
For us when we had longer emails and documents we had to write – we opted for the Click Keyboard.
And it provided a nice feel and the comforting click sounds of the keys.
It has all the keys including delete, shift, caps lock, return and symbols.
There is also an alternate keyboard which offers access to numbers, symbols and punctuation when you press the shift key – it has 123 on it and is at the bottom left of the keyboard.
There is a Clicks companion app which allows users to create custom commands and action buttons so you can access features, apps and actions at the press of a button.
By pressing the Clicks button and a chosen key you can access Shortcuts and do things like send a photo, turn on the flashlight, send customised messages, open favourite apps, access playlists and the list goes on.
The other advantage of having a keyboard is the fact that it offers more of the display for you to see which is usually covered by the on-screen keyboard.
You can see more and engage with the content on your in a more complete way.
The one thing you need to get used to is balancing the phone.
Because the keyboard is right at the bottom of the case it can be slightly top-heavy so you need to get a good grip of it while you’re typing.
The Clicks Keyboard case connects to the iPhone via a USB-C port and this is where it draws its power so there is no need to ever charge it.
There is also MagSafe built in and users can still charge their iPhone and connect to CarPlay through the Clicks Keyboard case as well.
The Clicks Keyboard is available now from IQU and is priced at $249.
