Modern technology gives us many things.

LG’s new X Power smartphone has something we all want – longer battery life

LG has launched a brand new smartphone – the X Power – that will tick two of the biggest boxes for customers – it’s affordable and it has a battery that will last all day and all night.

Available exclusively at JB Hi-Fi stores, the LG X Power has a massive 4,100mAh battery which is actually 50 per cent larger than the battery aboard the LG Nexus X.

That longer life battery means you can do a lot more on the move – surf the web, post to social media sites, play games and enjoy content – for a lot longer.

Priced at $349, the device has a 5.3-inch high definition screen and is running the 6.0.1 Android Marshmallow operating system.

Under the hood is a 1.3Ghz quad-core processor, 16GB internal memory which is expandable through a microSD card slot and 2GB RAM.

On the camera front it has a 13-megapixel front camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

Speaking of selfies, the LG X Power smartphone has an Auto Shot feature that can recognise individual faces and then, when both you and the device are still – will take the photo.

“This smartphone is great for those who are always on-the-go,” says Bruce Leigh, Marketing Manager for LG Mobile Australia comments.

“This device has all of the features and necessities needed, but with the added benefit of a large battery capacity. So you can be glued to your phone playing games or scrolling through social media for longer.”

The LG X Power smartphone is available now from JB Hi-Fi and is priced at $349.
