NBN’s speed upgrades are coming in September but award-winning Australian telco SpinTel has jumped in early with a 500/50 plan for just $74 per month making it one of the best values plans available.
The plan meets the needs of the modern household and would suit people working from home, viewers streaming 4K video and managing the many devices that make up a smart home.
“NBN Co’s speed upgrades are coming in September, but many households need that extra bandwidth now,” says Liam Bal, CEO of SpinTel.
“We’re giving our customers the chance to get ahead of the rollout and enjoy faster upload speeds today, without paying top dollar.
“Our new 500/50 Mbps plan is ahead of the curve, priced at just $74 a month for the first six months, then $84.95 ongoing.
It’s rare to see this level of performance at such an accessible price. In fact, it’s often better value to upgrade to 500/50 than stay on legacy 100/20 plans, especially when you compare it to other high-speed options on the market.”
The NBN is upgrading the speed of its plans in September.
The 100/20Mbps plans will increase to 500/50mbps, 250/25 will increase to 750/50Mbps and the 1000/50 plan will double its upload speed to 100Mbps.
A faster 2000Mbps plan will also be introduced with upload speeds of 100Mbps for customers connected via HFC and 200Mbps for FTTP customers.
The 500/50 plan SpinTel is offering is part of the NBN’s upgrades and is ideal for families and professionals who are looking for higher speeds but not higher bills.
The SpinTel plan is available now at spintel.net.au with same day activation in most cases and is subject to NBN address-level availability.
The pricing will be $74 a month for the first six months and then 84.95 ongoing.
