Modern technology gives us many things.

How Telstra customers can claim free Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage

If you’re a Telstra customer, you can now take up a generous offer of free additional cloud storage on Microsoft’s OneDrive so you can safely store all of your important files online.

Existing Telstra customers with pre-paid and post-paid smartphone plans along with mobile broadband and home broadband accounts will be eligible for 200GB of OneDrive storage – at no extra cost.

This additional cloud storage now means users can free up their device’s memory and store their photos, videos and music on OneDrive.

And they can be shared with other people and accessed from any device.

OneDrive also allows customers to work on documents directly from a web browser free with Office Online or with the Word, Excel or PowerPoint mobile apps on a smartphone or tablet so you can be productive anywhere.

Here’s how you can redeem this offer from Telstra:

STEP 1

Firstly, you’ll need your Telstra ID – username and password – which will identify if you’re eligible for the offer. This is the same Telstra ID which you use to access My Account or the Telstra 24×7 app.

But don’t worry if you don’t have a Telstra ID – you can create one during the sign-up process for this offer.

STEP 2

Secondly, you’ll also need a Microsoft account which is used to manage your OneDrive storage. Again, if you don’t already have a Microsoft account you can create one during sign-up.

And it would best if you use the same email address as your Telstra ID.

STEP 3

Third, once you’re all set up, you can download the Microsoft OneDrive app to multiple devices including smartphones, tablets and computers.

The offer can only be redeemed once per customer account and data charges apply for uploading and downloading data.
