There are millions of people living with allergies and the feat for these people is they might unknowingly eat something they’re allergic too but now there’s a device that can test your food before you eat it.
The Mini Lab by Allergen Alert is small enough to fit in the palm of your hands and can be used to test for allergens like gluten, fish, wheat, shellfish, eggs, nuts and sesame.
Users can take a tiny sample and place it inside a small pouch that slides into the device to analyse it.
A couple of minutes later the results are displayed in the screen on top of the device and it will show whether an allergens were detected or not detected.

The Mini Lab is battery powered and easily portable and can take the stress out of eating.
The product has miniaturised all the steps that usually require a lab to carry out so a non-professional can easily perform the test in minutes.
