Reolink has launched the Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi security camera which offers 4K and AI-powered monitoring which makes it easier to find specific clips.
Reolink says it’s the first floodlight camera to feature AI Video Search so you can find exactly what you’re looking for rather than combing through hours of video.
For example, you can search for “man in a hoodie” or “black ute” and the system will instantly present matching clips.
Other search categories supported include people, vehicles, animals and packages.
There is also AI-powered motion detection so it can easily distinguish between people, animals, vehicles and packages.
Users can also create customisable alerts rules with Smart AI.
It’s possible to draw a virtual border to be able to monitor specific areas of your property and specify zones where you would like notifications or alarms if movement is detected.
The AI Video Search is powered by ReoNeura – Reolink’s smart AI system – and runs entirely on the device so no cloud connection or subscription is needed.
The Reolink Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi security camera has a 180-degree field of view, 4K UHD video resolution and a floodlight that’s up to 3000 lumens.
The lighting is adaptive and brightness and light temperature can be automatically adjusted based on the time of day or detected activity.
The smart lighting modes include Dusk to Dawn for ambient light automation and Motion Triggered to activate the lights.
There is also a built in siren that’s as loud as 105dB.
The camera achieves a 180-degree field of view with dual stitching technology to come up with the panoramic view in 4K so users can cover wide open areas of their property.
The Reolink Elite Floodlight Wi-Fi security camera is priced at $299.99 and is available through Reolink.com and Amazon.
