Dyson products can vacuum your carpets, clean your floors, keep you cool, warm you up and help you style your hair but now they are taking on the big audio brands with its new OnTrac customisable noise-cancelling headphones.

In fact, Dyson says the OnTrac headphones have the best in-class noise cancellation and an impressive 55 hour runtime.

The headphones have been designed to offer high fidelity sound for a superior audio experience.

There are eight microphones that work to listen out for external sounds 384,000 times per second and block out up to 40dB of unwanted noise.

The Dyson OnTrac also has a remarkable sound range going all the way from the chest thumping bass to crystal clear highs, so every note and every word is heard with impressive clarity.

It also has a customizable design with more than 2,000 colour combinations for the outer caps and ear cushions.

The ear cushions are made from ultra soft microfiber and high-grade foam to offer exceptional comfort even when listening for extended periods.

There are head detect sensors which will pause your audio playback whenever you remove the headphones and immediately resume as soon as you put them back on again.

Onboard are two high capacity lithium ion battery cells to offer up to 55 hours of playback even if noise cancellation is enabled.

This sort of battery life means you can be immersed in sound during long haul flights. Flight adapters have also been included so you could use the Dyson OnTrac headphones with the inflight entertainment system.

The Dyson OnTrac headphones come in 4 colorways:

– CNC Aluminium

– CNC Copper

– Ceramic Mandarin

– CNC Black Nickel

The Dyson OnTrac are available to order in Australia from August 28 and will go on sale on September 5. They will be priced at $799.
